I’m guessing that we all occasionally have that echo in our heads of mom saying, “Stand up straight!” Well, as much as we hate to admit it, she was right. We can all look 10 pounds slimmer by standing up straight, shoulders back and stomach in. Not only do we look significantly better, but we ARE better. Standing in the neutral spine position, which is ears over shoulders, shoulders over hips, and knees soft (not locked), keeps our spine in the correct alignment. Also, constantly aware of drawing in those abdominal muscles is a win-win. You look great and you are training those abs. Thanks mom.
